We Focus on Quality not Quantity
We recommend microneedling treatments every 8–12 weeks, unlike many clinics that suggest 4–6 week intervals. Our approach is rooted in quality over quantity, ensuring each session delivers maximum impact with longer-lasting results.
We combine deeper needle penetration with high-performance active ingredients—a powerful duo that allows your skin to absorb regenerative formulas beyond the surface layer. This combination has been shown to significantly boost collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and enhance overall skin tone and texture more effectively than superficial treatments.
As of July 2025, our standard treatment includes:
-
PDRN (tissue regeneration)
-
Exosome therapy (anti-aging and repair)
-
CICA (soothing and barrier support)
-
Pharmaceutical-grade Korean stem cells (imported for their unmatched efficacy in microneedling)

What is Microneedling?
Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy), an increasingly popular technique to improve your skin in a safe, natural, holistic alternative for resurfacing of the skin. It works like this:
1. Create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin with percise and safe handheld machine. These tiny punctures will not leave scars
2. They are designed to stimulate repair mechnisms, generate more collagen, and elastin and trigger beneficial rejuvenation.
3. The body heals these micro needle punctures. During and after the proceedure we enhance the results with EGF+ grow and skin repair ampules to enhance effects.

How we do it?
Our process for Microneedling the Face, Neck and Chest
1. Double Cleansing
We cleanse the skin twice to achieve a deeper, more thorough cleanse. First, we use an oil-based cleanser or micellar water to remove makeup and sunscreen. The second cleanse helps remove what you can’t see, such as pollutants, impurities, and debris.
2. Topical Numbing cream is applied*
This helps minimize potential skin sensitivity and discomfort during the session, allowing us to work at a 1.0–1.5 mm depth while minimizing irritation.
3. Microneedling (RF or Non-RF)
Our professionally trained practitioners perform microneedling treatments tailored to your skin’s needs and goals. Treatments can target concerns such as scarring, hyperpigmentation, dehydration, and signs of aging.
It's not just the needles.... Throughout the treatment, we use high-quality ingredients such as PDRN (salmon DNA), exosomes, and exclusive Korean skincare products to optimize results, promote skin renewal, and enhance hydration.
4. Finishing with Our Signature NUMI Facial Mask
We finish the treatment with our signature NUMI facial mask, designed to promote healing, soothe the skin, reduce irritation, and provide deep hydration.
5. Aftercare
To help keep your skin hydrated, we’ll send you home with a sample skin-boosting care package to support immediate aftercare and enhance your results. We’ll also share personalized tips and advice for aftercare to help you maintain and maximize your results.

Microneedling
vs
RF Microneedling
Microneedling and RF (RadioFrequency) Microneedling are all safe and effective skin treatments that enhance skin texture and health, but they have key differences.
✨ Treatment Depth - Microneedling penetrates deeper than nano-needling, while RF microneedling reaches even deeper by utilizing radiofrequency.
✨ Skin Concerns - Microneedling is ideal for improving overall skin texture, RF microneedling is more effective for more dramatic skin tightening to address wrinkles and scars, smile and Jowl lines.
✨ Downtime - RF microneedling is slightly more with a few hours to one day of sensitively and microneedling may require a recovery period of a few hours to three days. Redness may be observed during this time and we advise minimal sun exposure & staying well moisturized and hydrated.
✨ Want to Minimize Redness? RF Microneedling can produce excellent results and redness subsizes within hours for most skin types.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I get Microneedling?
At Yaletown Wellness, we recommend microneedling treatments every 8–12 weeks, unlike many clinics that suggest 4–6 week intervals. Our approach is rooted in quality over quantity, ensuring each session delivers maximum impact with longer-lasting results.
How long until I see results?
Some clients notice visible improvements after just one session, but best results typically appear after 3-5 sessions, especially for concerns like uneven skin tone, fine lines, or scarring.
What should I do after a microneedling session?
-
Avoid sun exposure, makeup, and rubbing motions on the skin surface about a week.
-
Keep your skin deeply hydrated with products that focus on the nutrients, repairs and drink plenty of water.
Can I travel after microneedling?
Yes—but avoid direct sun, beaches, and pools for at least 5-7 days to protect your freshly treated skin and maintain optimal healing.
I recently had Botox. When can I get microneedling?
We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after Botox before having a microneedling treatment. This allows the Botox to fully settle and ensures we can perform your microneedling treatment safely and effectively.
