Yaletown Wellness is a registered ICBC provider and participates in the auto injury program.
Clients who have been in an accident are automatically approved for treatments within the first 12 weeks after the accident.
12 Pre-authorized Acupuncture sessions

12 Pre-authorized Massage Therapy sessions
25 Pre-authorized Physiotherapy sessions
Our team can help with treatments to aid in your recovery and rehabilitation. If you believe you may want to seek treatment, do not delay. For the first 12 weeks after the accident, ICBC has pre-approved treatments. If it's been more than 12 weeks ICBC may require a doctor’s referral notes but often treatment options are approved. Contact us and we can help you find out.

1. Start Your ICBC Claim
To begin your ICBC claim, make sure you have the following ready:

The license plate numbers of all vehicles involved

The driver’s license numbers of all drivers

Insurance info for any non-ICBC vehicles
You can report your claim by calling ICBC at 604-520-8222 or online at icbc.com/claims/report.
Important: Even if you’re not at fault, you may still qualify for ICBC-covered treatments.
2. Book Your Sessions
Once your claim is submitted, reach out to us with:

Your full name

Your ICBC claim number

The date of your accident
We’ll help you build a custom treatment plan and start your ICBC physiotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic or massage therapy as soon as possible.
Don't wait: Treatments must begin within 12 weeks of your accident to qualify under your ICBC claim. If you need more sessions beyond that, we’ll help you get additional approval from your ICBC Claims Specialist.
3. Let ICBC Cover the Cost
If your motor vehicle accident claim is approved, ICBC will cover the cost of your treatments for the first 12 weeks after your accident.

Other Terms and Conditions:
If a longer massage or acupuncture session is desired, you may pay pay a small user fee to upgrade to a longer session. This means ICBC pays a portion of your treatment cost up front and you pay the user fee to the clinic directly at time of treatment.
If your claim is not immediately approved by ICBC, we will contact you to work with you on getting an extension from ICBC.

A: ICBC clients who have been in a car accident in the 12 week period from are automatically pre-authorized 12 sessions for Acupuncture, RMT, Kinesiology and 25 sessions for Chiro and Physio. To get a better prediction of how many sessions you might need, you can participate in several treatments in order to determine how you’re responding to the treatments.

A: The initial visit with acupuncture, RMT, Physio and Kinesiology treatment including an assessment is 45 minutes. The subsequent visit is 35 minutes. For Chiro the initial is 30 min ans subsequent 15 min.
